Joel Webbon has had a meteoric rise on YouTube and social media because of his courage on the issues of Covid, opposing feminism, and championing Christian Nationalism. These issues caused him to stand out from others in the postmillennial theonomic circles.
But another standout is the issue of Zionism, both functional and overt. Joel Webbon is on his way to popularizing a partial-preterist view of Romans 11. In a clip popularized by Evangelical Dark Web contributor Defiant Baptist, Joel Webbon and Stephen Wolfe argue that the futurist interpretation of Romans 11 is functionally dispensationalist.
Webbon argued that the preterist view of Romans 11, being fulfilled in 70 AD, nearly 20 years after Paul wrote Romans, is what exegetically reconciles Romans 9-11 with Galatians, Hebrews, and Ephesians. Convinced by the exegesis, Webbon raises the issue of how it is most consistent for a postmillennial to take a preterist view of Romans 11. Thus, postmillennialism combined with the futurist interpretation requires “physical Israel” to be preserved. Stephen Wolfe, being amillennial, discusses the implications of the postmillennial futurism is that Jews would receive preferential treatment, in order to preserve them for the time of their eventual revival. Webbon and Wolfe jest about kinism for thee but no one else.
The issue of preservation is raised but history tells a different story than the dispensational Zionist narrative. Ashkenazi Jews are the most debated lineage in genealogy. Considerable effort has been made to establish trace Middle Eastern DNA. However, there are several more groups with “purer” ties to the Ancient Israelites, chief among them Palestinian Christians.
The futurist view of Romans 11 has relied on assumptions that largely do not hold up. Paul, who boasted his credentials as a Pharisee of Pharisees from the tribe of Benjamin, would be unlikely to view any group of people alive today as his people. After all, the Samaritans were excluded for centuries of intermarriage and different traditions.
So the futurist position holders must answer the following in order to have a coherent interpretation. Does Romans 11 apply to those who are genetic descendants of Israel, identify as Israel, or both are required?
If genetic stock is all that matters, then physical Israel is genetically diaspora, making Zionism moot, but ironically, modern Palestinians would take primacy over their Israeli adversaries. If identity is all that matters, then the position of the church being the true Israel should take greater precedent in reconciling the passage. If both are required, then who can this apply to?

Doug Wilson entered the conversation, insisting that he isn’t a Zionist and is relying on Reformed tradition. None of the Reformers had the genetic research we possess today and likely assumed the unbroken continuity that historians would later question. Wilson’s entry into the conversation has a dog that yelped was the dog that was hit vibe. Nevertheless, Webbon is advancing his position against an entrenched tradition in Evangelicalism.

Anyone who says that “jews are the chosen people” or “god is on the side of the jews” should be arrested for TREASON.
After the America First movement wins power, anyone who claims that the jews are “the chosen people” will be arrested, convicted of treason, and sent to a labor camp for the rest of their life.
At the labor camp (“the Camp Bonhoeffer Penal Labor Facility For Enemies And Traitors”), the jew-worshippers will do hard labor for 12 hours per day, and in their spare time they can narcissistically brag to each other about how pro-jewish they are and how many “blessings” they are going to receive from their evil, depraved, jewish supremacist, fake version of “god.”
When Paul says “What advantage then has the Jews? Much in every way” that also ended in 70 AD. Gentiles have the advantage; the Oracles of Christ were committed to us, we grew up with both Testaments but most especially the New Testament. And we grew up being taught to love Christ, not hate him. Jews only have an advantage in finances due to Epstein blackmailing all the politicians for them. All SPIRITUAL advantages have been the possession of the Gentiles since 70 AD.
