In the aftermath of the Tucker Carlson-Nick Fuentes interview, the conservative landscape has been embroiled in infighting between the Zionist factions and Right-Wing factions, but no institution has undergone more infighting than The Heritage Foundation. The Heritage Foundation is unquestionably the most prestigious of the conservative thinktanks. Their notorious Project 2025, while a boogeyman for the Left during the 2024 election, has served as a mostly positive framework that has been guiding the administration.
Initially, Kevin Roberts, the President of the Heritage Foundation initially supported Tucker Carlson amidst a flurry of calls to cancel and denounce him. Roberts has been subjected to a massive pressure campaign, not just against him but also against his staffers. Roberts has since backtracked his initial statements, issuing a cowardly apology in which he told staffers, “I made a mistake and I let you down and I let down this institution.” Roberts is a coward for backtracking, and his cravenness will only enable further reprisals against other staffers.
One such staffer is Evan Myers, who allegedly participated in the Roberts statement as one of his staffers. He was secretly recorded in a conversation which was then released by Daniel Mael, a Jew, over a question about the Heritage Foundation hosting Shabbat Dinners:
Thank you, Mike. That’s a hard act to follow. But you did a really good job. And I just want to say I’m grateful for all of our colleagues who are speaking up today. And especially for our colleagues on the National Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism, I’m especially grateful for their work. I also have a question about it, given some of the leaks that occurred yesterday. Right now, the National Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism is demanding that Heritage host Shabbat dinners with Heritage interns and junior staff. The faith of many Christians here at Heritage, myself included, would prevent us from attending these dinners in good conscience. As you know, for many Christians, Friday is a special day of prayer and abstinence to commemorate the death of Christ. I assume that no staff will be required to attend the Shabbat dinners, but my concern is that these dinners will be served as a sort of informal litmus test. And I’m worried that they will hurt many Christians who are not anti-Semitic, but don’t feel comfortable attending a Shabbat dinner. I would like to know how you guys would respond to that concern, and how we can be sure that the dinners won’t be used that way when the people requesting them or someone has already been linking them to the media. [Emphasis Added]
The speaker, Evan Myers, is attempting to broach the subject diplomatically. The question expresses concern that declining any Shabbat dinner invitation would be wielded against them, which would theoretically be illegal under employment law, but difficult to prove in court. The basic idea that someone who rejects the invitation would have their career hindered is a reasonable concern, especially as the Zionism issue has intensified on the Right since October 7th.
Theologically, it is wise for a Christian to decline such an invitation, as the Shabbat is a religious ritual in modern Judaism that pertains to their theology of the Sabbath. The practice involves a ritualistic dinner which culminates in the lighting of the Shabbat candle. Christianity abrogates ceremonial Sabbath laws while observing to Sabbath on the First day, a practice that originates in the First Century. There are common Shabbat prayers for the following: the candle lighting, the wine (kiddush), the children, the Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4), Amidah (standing prayer that faces Jerusalem), hand washing (Netilat Yadayim), and the Havdalah (ending prayer). For a Christian, participation in this is tantamount to participating in another religion. Moreover, Christ specifically rebukes the concept of the Netilat Yadayim in Matthew 15, so it would be in contradiction for a Christian to pray such that goes against the Savior’s own teaching. While it might appear connected to the Old Testament, it is separated by millennia of adaptations and connotations that were absent in Christ’s time. More importantly, the ceremonial practice is devoid of Christ, so it is vanity.
Similar rejection should be made for Christians participating in Seders, which is a recreation of a Passover dinner which many Christians participate to better “understand” the Last Supper. Often, these are hosted by outside groups, like Messianic Jews, which is a modern tradition and has many theological errors, beginning with their rejection of the Christian Sabbath and anti-trinitarian errors that exist within certain sects.
By secretly recording and releasing the question, Mael was hoping that Myers would face reprisals for raising the question, and prove the premise of the question that there would be retaliation for not attending Shabbats.
Analysis
There has been a series of leaks and hit-pieces being wielded against the Right wing, whether it was the Young Republicans group chats or the Heritage staffers like Evan Myers. All of these attacks are coming from the Zionist faction, which in the case of the Young Republicans, was willing to go to Politico, a liberal media outlet, to smear internal opposition. The Israeli government is even financing an influence campaign using multiple outlets to the tune of $150 million, of which one of those efforts will specifically geotarget churches.
The debate over Tucker Carlson has many of the most prominent Never-Trumpers like Shapiro and Levin acting like proud day-one MAGA supporters, making fallacious statements that opposition to Israel is anti-MAGA and tearing apart the movement. What America First has to do with support for foreign countries remains a mystery, yet truth does not concern these people.
The real battle is not over Tucker and Fuentes, but the future of the party under the helm of Vice President JD Vance. Already, the Kosher Conservative types have revealed cracks in their support for Vance, with James Lindsay denouncing him as “woke right” and Joel Berry attempting to co-opt him. This is the same reason these types went on a denunciation campaign over people celebrating Pat Buchanan’s 87th birthday. MAGA is the successor to Buchanan, who is Israeli-skeptic. Vance will continue the progression of the GOP to a paleoconservative party, contrary to the desires of the Neoconservatives.
JD Vance has already signaled he will perpetuate America First and is less Zionist than Trump. Undoubtedly, Vance will be the party nominee in 2028, so their efforts either to co-opt him completely or to sabotage him outright. The lines are being drawn.
Conclusion
Kevin Roberts initially took a bold stand, only for him to retreat like a craven. His sentiments were aligned with Vice President JD Vance, but evidently, the pressure got to him. Whether this was the donors, other Conservative Inc. figures, or the workers within, the Zionists appeared to have gotten the upper hand at Heritage and now will go after any dissenters. Overall, this is a downgrade for Heritage Foundation, but the war for the future of the Republican party has only just erupted.

One Response
If the Amidah is done in full uncensored form there is a prayer against the minim (heretics) by which the Jews means Christians, who are attacked in it under the name of Nazarenes.
