Tucker Carlson Is Wrong About Mocking Islam

Tucker Carlson has long been accused or suspected of being too soft on Islam. In a recent interview with Auron MacIntyre, Carlson was pressed on this issued and resolved that Islam does not belong in the United States. Carlson emphasized preserving America’s demography, a message that has seen him rise even after exiting Fox News. However, given, Trump’s recent rhetoric towards Iran, Tucker Carlson took major issue with the notion of mocking Islam.

Tucker Carlson argues:

So obviously you’re mocking the religion of Iran. Okay, if you seek a religious war, that’s a good idea. But by the way, no decent person mocks other people’s religions. You may have a problem with the theology — presumably you do if it’s not your religion — and you can explain what that is. But to mock other people’s faith is to mock the idea of faith itself.

No, this is a mockery, not just of Islam, it’s a mockery of Christianity. To send out a tweet with the F-word on Easter morning, promising the murder of civilians, and then saying ‘Praise be to Allah’ without explaining any of it — you are mocking me and every other Christian because we’re Christians.

This is vile on every level. This is the intentional desecration of beauty and truth, which is the definition of evil.”

The pile of liberal gobbledygook that Carlson espoused comes from the premise that any faith is good faith because of the humility required to acknowledge a higher power. But this view is not shared by God, who in the First Commandment declared that no other gods should come before Him.

Though many claim that Islam worships the same god as Christianity, this is incorrect as Islam is a mixture of Christian heresy and Bedouin paganism, and its god does not exhibit the same attributes as the God of Abraham. Islam is not a representation of beauty and truth. It is a perversion of it.

The Bible also includes numerous instances of mocking false gods and worship. The most notorious example in Scripture is Elijah mocking Baal and his prophets at Mt. Carmel. However, we see a New Testament example of Jesus mocking the Canaanite gods. While a supernatural storm threatened the lives of the disciples, Jesus was fast asleep and woke up only to silence the storm swiftly. Jesus then ventured into enemy territory and freed the demoniac.

Tucker Carlson’s moralfagging not only indicts Trump on fake sins, but also the Old Testament prophets and Christ.

  1. Trump was mocking Islam by praising Allah though. You gotta keep that in context. Due to that it was indeed mocking both Islam and Christianity. And the reason Trump did it was to publicly reveal he is a Jew while maintaining plauisible deniability before the retarded by not literally saying the words “I am a Jew.”
