Recently, he released a video arguing Protestants face a choice between an unreliable New Testament or a reliable Catholic Church, based on how the early church formed the canon. Wes Huff has emerged as the top Protestant apologist on and off YouTube. Bertuzzi took aim at Huff over the age old issue of the Bible’s source of inspiration.

I have to be honest, I was hopeful with your recent video ft. Fr. Cajetan Cuddy and Dr. Freeman that you were going to be focusing on more quality content going forward. That discussion was legitimately productive and helpful, with all due respect, this type of click bait is not.
Wes Huff gives Bertuzzi the undeserved benefit of the doubt as Bertuzzi is a known grifter using Wes Huff’s name for slop apologetics, specifically rehashing whether the church gave us the Bible or did the church recognize what was already Scripture.
To make the slop apologetics even more shameless, Bertuzzi grants early access to channel members and patrons. And while this is a common YouTuber tactic, it’s a reminder of how financially pushy Bertuzzi has always been. Content creation is a business, and his video falls into the content over everything (COE) mantra. But behind all of the videos and cold takes lies a lack of sincerity that has undergirded Bertuzzi’s content since the beginning.
