On September 10, Shadow Mountain Community Church announced that David Jeremiah was hospitalized over an unknown virus. It was reported that David Jeremiah was unable to walk on the preceding Monday and was taken to the hospital. David Jeremiah is suffering from a virus that attacked his spine. The church was assured that he did not have cancer or a stroke.
This past Sunday David Jeremiah gave a major update, that he would be returning to preach this upcoming Thanksgiving Sunday. The video was aired to the church and not announced live there.
David Jeremiah is still recovering as he makes clear. He braces his church’s expectations for his return stating that he might use a walker to get on stage and will be seated while preaching. Adding some levity, Jeremiah announced that his sermon would be on thanking God during times of trouble for which his recent weeks have given him plenty of illustrations.

I am an avid “fan” of Dr.David Jeremiah. We actually have a number of similar “things” in common, beginning with the fact that we were both born in the same year, 1941.
My two oldest children also attended Cedarville University.
I have read many of his wonderful books, and have given away MANY of them, most recently, a dozen or more of “The Great Disappearance”! I also have purchased, and shown his wonderful set of DVDs of “The Great Disappearance” at the Senior living residence, “Parkview Estates”, in Kennewick, WA!

I have faithfully watched Pastor Jeremiah for years now. He has been my earthly mentor. When I lost my husband to the Lord in 2020, Pastor Jeremiah became my everything next to the Lord. I watch him faithfully on TV, I was born in 1938. Pastor Jeremiah reminds me so much of my husband. Pastor, you have taught me more than you can ever imagine. My faith is strong and I so look forward to meeting you in our Heavenly Home. My prayers are with you and your family. God Bless ✝️🙏
