After two runoff elections, the Southern Baptist Convention, has their new president, Clint Pressley. Pressley was widely believed to be the North American Mission Board’s preferred candidate. Pressley is the Senior Pastor of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pressley represents the liberal establishment of the SBC helmed by Kevin Ezell who is head of the North American Mission Board. Ezell has been a kingmaker for SBC presidents. Pressley is a notorious SBC insider who was slated to give the nomination speech for Willy Rice when he was going to be nominated for President prior to deacongate.
Clint Pressley beat out Dan Spencer and four other candidates to win the presidency. A couple of notes about Pressley.

Clint Pressley is a woke pastor whose church even hired an illegal alien. According to Protestia, he’s been woke since about 2014. So, the Southern Baptist Convention will have yet another woke president to be the convention’s public face.
