While the indiscretion of Matt Chandler hiring his confessed sex abuser father to work as a custodian at The Village Chruch was being made public, Matt Chandler’s interview with Lecrae would spark many memes as the two liberals thought themselves speaking profound truths but uttered foolish nonsense. Matt Chandler is famous for being the woke preacher who declared that he would hire a “Black 7” over an “Anglo 8” in a rant about his affirmative action practices.
In a recent interview with Lecrae, Matt Chandler would highlight his plans to lead his church during the election season. Matt Chandler describes the situation as him trying to lead the 80% of people in the middle who want to know how to navigate politics in a biblical way, equating the far left and the far right.
Yet what Matt Chandler is actually alluding to is the megachurch pastor mentality of playing to the largest audience regardless of what the Bible says on a particular issue, Matt Chandler is trying to reach normies and only normies as he expresses how they are reasonable. But how many normies believe that getting an abortion is murder and therefore these mothers should get the death penalty? That’s a far right position that is the biblical position. However, it is outside of Chandler’s paradigm. Is Matt Chandler also preaching that sodomy should be criminalized which is biblical and every Christian agreed until the 20th century. Simply put, the Bible is a far right book, especially if we are trying to apply its wisdom to politics.
Matt Chandler is not actually leading, but placating. He’s not honest enough to admit that because he is liberal. Chandler also expressed the discontent people have when he speaks on immigration and race. Given Chandler’s hall of shame record on wokeness, it’s unlikely that he supports mass deportation. Yet Chandler denies being for open borders, something that people who support mass deportation and border walls don’t have to do. However, if Chandler’s audience does not like him bringing up race and immigration, is that not a product of his failure to take a biblical stance on either issue to the detriment of his congregation?
Matt Chandler also said that he refused to do a prayer at an event with Governor Greg Abbott of Texas. Even David Platt was willing to pray for Donald Trump, at the time. Matt Chandler tried to take a moral highroad, claiming that they don’t get to use his pulpit. But Matt Chandler is boasting in his failed leadership. In contrast, Tom Ascol was a wonderful witness in Florida when asked the same by Gov. Ron DeSantis.
In the latest meme, Matt Chandler quotes from NT Wright and Michael Bird, that the left wants the kingdom but not the king, and the right wants the king but not the kingdom. Chandler and Lecrae both thought this was profound, but the internet soon showed how nonsensical this logic is.
Athletes want the fit without the cross, and obese pastors want the cross without the fit.

There is a third way. CrossFit.
So good.
(No I don’t do CrossFit.) https://t.co/hb30CueFZp
To the subversive influencers, the words of NT Wright and Michael Bird are profound, but their professions of wisdom have them known as fools.

“But how many normies believe that getting an abortion is murder and therefore these mothers should get the death penalty? “ Nobody believes that. The murderer in an abortion is the one performing the abortion. The mother is another victim.
And that’s not a “far right” position, it’s a Christian position.
The mother is the one performing the abortion in most cases. Is there just magically a murder without a murderer in the vast majority of abortions?
It’s possible that the mother could be forced into it against her will, although this is probably rare. If a woman intentionally seeks to have someone else murder her child, she is complicit and just as culpable, if not more so. The “doctor” is the hit man. Well, she hired the hit man.
This whole gay rigamarole about women being another victim in abortion is aggravating. I’ve seen pictures of these women celebrating the murder of their children, saying serial killeresque things like “aborted children are a delicious snack” and whatnot. They are not victims, they’re female Ted Bundys. Obligatory “not all” disclaimer.
why do people like like Kyle Thompson, Undaunted Life, claim “he tackles hot button issues that most pastors won’t go near; such as the lack of true masculinity in the Church, supposed “toxic” masculinity in culture, how to defeat pro-abortion arguments, wokeness and cancel culture, CRT, the LGBTQ+ cultural revolution, and much more” platform Matt Chandler. These people like Kyle are putting on a pathetic front of maleness when they invite woke Matt’s on their podcast and ignore all the things Matt has done to create they very thing Kyle says he stands against!
