Anons and Brother Wars

Exposing Anonymous Hypocrisy

The use of anonymity goes back to antiquity and has a rich tradition in America’s founding as well. However, only with the rise of social media has the use of anonymity become a subject of moral debate. There are countless influencers who attack anons, from such lofty positions such as Jordan Peterson. And likewise, this trickles into Christian circles. Whereas, The Gospel Coalition used to publish tone-policing articles regularly. Yet the hypocrisy abounds by those who oppose the use of anonymous accounts.

Steve Deace and especially his cohost, Todd Erzen hate on anonymous accounts all the time but have no problem hyping anons who are dedicated fan accounts.

Mid Eva has attacked Joel Webbon for commanding an army of anons which fundamentally misunderstands the nature of anons. Doug Wilson and James White all have anons that fight under their banner. However, in the process of attacking Joel Webbon for the accusation of weaponizing anons against Owen Strachan, a woke Mid Eva actor, Olson among others promoted an anti-Christian anon. Ironically, Webbon is promoting anons mocking more bad actors, sending them to Bluesky, a liberal alternative social media platform, which is good.

Nevertheless, as someone who has comment sections that attract attention, it’s clear from experience that Doug Wilson, G3, and to a lesser extent James White have anons; they aren’t nearly as effective. The Christian Nationalist anons and adjacent auxiliaries have been instrumental in pushing the Overton Window.

The sudden push by Neil Shenvi, Doug Wilson, James White, and others to tone police anons is done out of an inability to compete in the marketplace of ideas on certain issues. But if it was their anons winning, there would be no push.

  1. The reason the traitor-pastors (Doug Wilson, James White, etc) have been whining about internet anonymity lately, is because anonymous Christian internet users have been exposing how evil, heretical, dishonest, and manipulative these traitor-pastors are.

The traitor-pastors are upset and agony that they are being exposed as false teachers. Hence, they have been trying to manipulate Christians into wrongly believing that online anonymity is bad or “un-biblical” or whatever the traitor-pastor buzzword of the month is.

The traitor-pastors are attempting to manipulate the anonymous Christian warriors into wrongly believing that anonymity is un-christian.

Of course, the traitor-pastors are LYING. Faithful and devout Christians have used anonymity as an effective tool throughout the history of Christianity.

The goal of the traitor-pastors is to 1) silence the faithful Christians who expose the lies of the traitor-pastors, and 2) get the faithful Christians who can’t be silenced to publicly reveal their identities, so the traitor-pastors’ (((owners))) can get these faithful Christians fired from their jobs.

I strongly encourage faithful Christians to continue to use anonymity as a valuable tool in the fight against the traitors-pastors.
