But Christian Today intends to exercise a futile attempt at sowing buyer’s remorse with a story of what appears the first ICE raid at a church. However, banking on people not reading their article, their staffers lie about the material details of the story.
Christianity Today staffer Daniel Silliman shared the story as follows:
This is first immigrant arrested in an ICE raid at a church. The raid came five days after the Trump admin. revoked a policy that, for 13 years, had ordered ICE officers to avoid making arrests at houses of worship and other “sensitive locations.” He was here legally.

She tried to listen as she watched uniformed men cinch GPS-tracking ankle bracelets to the heads of families: to young men, to mothers traveling alone with their children, and to her husband.
The article clearly explains that Wilson Velásquez invaded the United States and goes on to detail that this is his second time, as he was deported once before. Apparently, although this church was the site of the raid because Velásquez had an ankle monitor, he was arrested outside rather than in the middle of a service.
Christianity Today is attempting to emotionally manipulate the resolve of Americans to stomach mass deportations, but to answer Mike Cosper, we voted for this.

As much as modern evangelicals hate to admit it, Jews are condemned more than anything else in the New Testament, unless they become Christians, converted to Judaism, and their descendents (those who say they are Jews and are not) will someday be forced to bow down to Christians and tell them Jesus loves them.
