Christianity Today is in a public relations free fall after the revelation of their receiving $1.8 million in government funds according to their form 990. Mike Cosper, the media executive at Christianity Today best known for “The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill” podcast, has been the point man for crisis management.
Cosper’s liberalism has long undermined any presupposed credibility for his work against Mark Driscoll who took the revelation of Christianity Today’s funding to dunk on the liberals at Christianity Today.
Mark Driscoll quipped, “The only difference between Christianity Today and Judas is that Christianity Today was able to negotiate a deal with the devil for far more than 30 pieces of silver.”
After getting dunked on by Driscoll, Megan Basham, and the Christian community, Cosper attacked Driscoll for alleged hypocrisy.
So, if we are calling taking PPP loans or ERC credits “taking money to be a liberal shill,” Pastor Mark (who has a board member in OK and has apparently registered his ministries there) has some questions to answer alongside me and my @CTmagazine colleagues. @megbasham is this… pic.twitter.com/ljy5vLJi05

Cosper attempted to equate Driscoll taking a PPP loan in 2020 to his company’s confessed financial ties, which Christianity Today also took. Cosper appeared to argue that the 2023 contributions were related to PPP loans also, which was not the case.
Nevertheless, it is mysterious that the contribution is reported by Christianity Today but not on USA Spending. But as for Christianity Today, the dye is cast. They are regime shills, and no amount of damage control will ingratiate them with a Christian audience.

The die is cast…
Great information! Keep it coming!
Their contact us link is super slow. Hopefully that means they are being massively trolled.
I also heard that CT claimed the $1.8 Million was the forgiveness of a PPP loan.
Please post the site where that can be confirmed. I cannot find it.
Thanks.
“Christianity Today” (more like judeo-bolshevism today) are a subversive, traitorous, jewish-funded and jewish-controlled publication, masquerading as “Christian” in order to subvert Christianity from within.
Let’s keep the lies coming. CT’s 990 show dollars that come from a Covid era U.S. program. They have nothing to do with USAID. Many non-profits accessed those dollars….by the way, CT has nothing received the money yet. If you want to check this out, just email CT and ask, but why bother with truth when lies play so much better
You are retarded. Money from 2020 would not appear in 2023. Also, their forgiven PPP loans were less than a million.
