The Evangelical Covenant Church is an outlier among liberal denominations. On one hand their doctrines and practices deny the authority of Scripture. On the other hand, it is one of the most seeker-sensitive megachurch denominations in the country. Imagine if Calvary Chapel was fake and gay, you would have the ECC. Thus, instead of Chuck Smith, it is Craig Groeschel, pastor of America’s largest megachurch.
Already Woke
In 2008, the Evangelical Covenant Church adopted a resolution titled “Racial Righteousness.” This resolution adopted Critical Race Theory as a worldview. Perhaps the most egregious line in the resolution is its lament on evangelicals truncating the gospel:
For a season of our history, we succumbed to a larger evangelical trend that truncated the gospel, limiting the good news to personal salvation at the expense of reaching out to our neighbor, allowing us to largely exempt ourselves from the struggle for racial justice and equality.
This is heretical, as it attacks the evangelical church for not adding social works to the gospel. In essence, it is saying that the gospel is insufficient.
In addition to being an early adopter of Critical Race Theory, they are one of the first major denominations to embrace Side B Theology which affirms homosexual desires and identities as nonsinful.
So that this female-led denomination supports illegal immigration is an unsurprising development.
Treason
In response to Donald Trump, the Evangelical Covenant Church engaged in violating Romans 13 by providing a roadmap for illegal aliens to protect themselves from law enforcement.
The Evangelical Covenant Church has composed the following in response to a new legislative policy that affects congregations within the United States. While churches have historically been deemed off-limits to immigration authorities due to their “sensitive” status designation within communities, congregations now face the prospect of federal agents entering houses of worship to arrest migrants within their congregations.
This policy change has created anxiety, fear, and questions for many. The intent of this document is to explain what this new policy means for congregations and how they can legally respond if an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent shows up at their church. This document will explain the legal rights of a church, a person within a church, and an ICE agent.
Additionally, this document details community safety, human rights, and detention tracking protocols that may be helpful for communities as they respond to recent executive orders and immigration legislation that has been enacted. Our prayer is that this correspondence will help address existing confusion and equip our churches to feel resourced and supported in faithfully caring for their communities.
Similar to what the Presbyterian Church in America did, the ECC published much of the same boilerplate resources with a greater emphasis on illegal aliens. The document even contains a Spanish version.
- While US churches (along with schools, hospitals, medical clinics, and domestic violence shelters) have historically been off-limits to immigration authorities because of their legal designation of “sensitive” status within communities, these institutions now face the prospect of federal agents entering their premises to arrest migrants.
While Christianity Today misrepresented a supposed ICE raid at a “church,” the ECC is taking precautions to deny ICE entry, in the unlikely event that they decide to interrupt church functions. And thus they advise that invaders have contingency contacts and advise them against speaking with law enforcement or volunteering their unlawful status.
The posture of the ECC is pro-illegal immigration and obstructionist to the lawful duties of the civil magistrate.
Additionally, the ECC promotes Matthew Soerens of World Relief, an open borders profiteering NGO, and even sells his book on their website.
The ECC is a liberal denomination and so it’s posture of promoting open borders is not surprising. However, their megachurch catalog gives them a broader influence than they appear to have.

The symbol that the ECC is using doesn’t even look like a crucifix. Strange. It reminds me of Steve Furtick’s clown “Elevation Church” which uses the ^ symbol, instead of a crucifix.
After an America First government wins power, Matthew Soerens, the ECC, CREC, and all other “Christian” influencers who promote anti-White theology or engage in anti-White activities, will be arrested and charged with subversion, treason, and incitement of genocide.
Additionally, the traitors who were complicit in importing immigrants will be charged as an abettor, accessory, and accomplice to EVERY crime committed by the immigrants they helped import.
It will be very fun to see Matthew Soerens frog-marched out of his house in handcuffs by Federal Agents, on national TV.
Cuckvangelicalism will be shut down, and Traditional True Pro-White Christianity will be restored.
Any cuckvangelical manipulators who manipulatively whine that Pro-White policies are “un-christian” or whatever, will be invited to an all-expenses-paid luxury vacation at the “Camp Bonhoeffer” Penal Labor Facility For Enemies and Traitors.
Christianity will be RUTHLESSLY and COMPLETELY purged of all anti-White theology.
Big Eva also used Roman’s 13 to push the jab. Twisting scripture to promote deep state agendas.
