Dr. Michael L. Brown is a popular teacher and apologist who’s had a large following for multiple decades. He describes himself as a Jewish believer in Jesus, and much of his apologetic work is focused on outreach to unbelieving Jews. Brown is also a major proponent of the charismatic gifts of healing and tongues, and he has long defended the ministries of multiple charlatans over the years. Despite that, he maintains a large following, even among the Reformed community, mainly due to his long-term friendship with Dr. James White of Alpha & Omega Ministries. Late last year, some allegations of abuse came to light, regarding behavior alleged to have occurred between 2001 and 2002. These accusations threaten to completely derail his ministry.
The Timeline, 2001 to 2002
2001 marked a time of transition for Dr. Brown, who had been recently ousted from the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry. In response, Brown founded the FIRE School of Ministry, which would be a direct competitor. It was during this time that he befriended a student named Sarah Monk (initially referred to pseudonymously as “Erin”) in her early 20s. He cultivated what he perceived as a father/daughter relationship with her. They talked often and were affectionate. There is some dispute over what that entailed, but all sides agree that there was hand-holding.
While on a drive back from a ministry event in 2002, a ministry associate of Dr. Brown named Kris Bennett noticed that Michael and Sarah were holding hands during the drive. He was shocked about what he saw and decided to report it to his boss, Keith Collins. Collins and another man in FIRE leadership confronted Brown about hand-holding, and Brown explained it away as innocent, that he had a father/daughter relationship with Sarah, but that it was simply a lapse in judgment.
Kris Bennett says that Michael Brown was upset that Kris didn’t come to him directly and that this could have harmed the ministry. Kris at the time said that he was apologetic and didn’t pursue the matter further.
During this same timeframe, Dr. Brown was carrying on an emotional affair (he called it a “soul tie”) with a married woman, who is called “Kim.” Kim was married to a man called “Ray,” though Kim has since passed away. That leaves Ray to be the accuser of Brown in her stead. According to Ray, he confronted Michael Brown in early 2002 after Kim confessed to having phone sex with Brown. Brown admitted to everything, according to Ray, and both couples mutually decided to consider the matter over with no need to go public, according to Brown.
Sarah Monk continued being friendly with the Brown family, including Brown’s wife Nancy. In fact, Sarah would leave notes for him around his office to find with encouraging messages or Bible verses. After things blew up with Kim and Ray, Sarah happened to be house-sitting for the Browns. According to her, she was attempting to hide messages for Brown to find after he returned from his trip, but in doing so came across a journal or notepad that contained lascivious messages between Kim and Michael. It was at this point that Sarah had instant clarity that everything was wrong: Brown’s relationship with Kim as well as his relationship with her. She confronted the Browns with the notepad, and Michael Brown admitted to her what had been going on. Sarah claims that Brown said that he would formally apologize to her for what happened, as she would be representing the student body. He allegedly did so, and Sarah moved away from the campus. According to Michael Brown, Sarah remained in contact with the Browns through 2015.
According to Brown, none of that occurred regarding the housesitting event. Instead, Sarah approached Brown and told him that his behavior told her made her feel uncomfortable. Dr. Brown asked for her forgiveness, and they parted on good terms.
The Timeline, 2020 to 2024
Kris Bennett remained in contact with several alums of the Brownsville school, and in the course of time, Sarah told Kris that there was much more than just hand-holding that took place. Michael Brown had a habit of kissing her or requesting kisses from her, and he would also give her a light spank on the butt when she would leave his office. Sarah also shared with him the information about the phone sex with Kim that she had discovered.
So in 2020, Kris Bennett decided that he needed to confront Michael Brown again with these new allegations, as he was dissatisfied with how Brown responded to him in 2002. Kris and his former boss Keith Collins went to Brown directly, with Keith functioning as a witness. Kris said that Dr. Brown admitted to everything regarding his physical touching of Sarah while downplaying it as much as possible. Brown claimed to have no memory of any phone sex with Kim. Kris was dissatisfied, but he felt that he had done everything possible, so he let it go after that, though he continued to discuss everything with other students. These students also claim to have witnessed inappropriate behavior with Sarah.
Bennett says he was contacted in early 2024 by Julie Roys, a feminist and #ChurchToo activist whose website is dedicated to destroying pastors. Roys was working on the story about Michael Brown by fishing for leads, which was eventually published on 12/2/2024. Dr. Brown also released his own statement, which Julie linked to in her article. He also released a short video reiterating what was published and explaining (briefly) his side of the story. It was this video that triggered responses from Sarah Monk, Kris Bennett, and the man (widower) only known as Ray. Sarah and Ray released statements on 𝕏 through Ron Cantor in the form of lengthy posts. Sarah’s post can be found here, and Ray’s post here. Kris Bennett was more direct, conducting a long-form interview with the “Wake Up and Win Podcast” wherein he went over the full timeline from his perspective, which is summarized in this article.
As of now, there are no new updates. There is a “third-party” investigation of these allegations going on, and Michael Brown is on hiatus until the investigation concludes.
Conclusion
Based on everything we know at this point, it is very difficult for us to conclude that Michael Brown is guilty of abuse, for many reasons. The biggest problem is really Sarah Monk’s behavior during and after the alleged sin took place. She was a willing participant in this father/daughter relationship with Dr. Brown, which she eventually decided made her uncomfortable. However, according to Brown, she remained in contact with the Brown family through 2015, which is just not consistent with someone who truly felt that she had been abused. And not only that, she claims that she was the one who found out about Brown’s phone sex with Kim, now deceased. Why would she maintain contact with Brown, knowing that he had that in his history? Honestly, if Nancy Brown (wife of Dr. Brown) came out and made a statement attesting to Sarah’s friendliness for over a decade, it would blow up both sets of allegations for reasons already stated.
There’s also a #ChurchToo factor that cannot be ignored here. Julie Roys is clearly a driving force in this story, playing the role of an activist, despite the fact that she has admitted to spiritually abusing a young lady herself. Furthermore, it’s very clear that everyone accusing Dr. Brown is interpreting what they saw at the time through new lenses. So, they saw something in 2001 or 2002 that made them uncomfortable. But in 2024, they now realize it was a clear #MeToo violation. After all, there was a power disparity, we must believe women because they almost never lie about abuse, and this was clearly a grooming situation even though Sarah was an adult at the time. And regarding the most serious allegations by Ray, those must not be taken seriously at all due to the anonymity. There is no logical reason why Ray can’t make himself known, especially now that his wife has passed away. We are left to conclude that he’s refusing to do so because it would somehow blow up the accusations that he’s making. This anonymity is a violation of the biblical principle that one must be able to cross-examine an accuser.
Finally, if any of these allegations were true, there would be no reason for any of the accusers to wait over 20 years to bring them to light. They were all dealt with in the past, in some manner, to everyone’s satisfaction. Re-adjudication of these accusations now is completely inappropriate.

Either women are children or adults. If they are to be treated like a child, how can they vote and hold office over others? Brown is not a good teacher but that has nothing to do with this nonsense.
“He describes himself as a Jewish believer”
What a surprise.
Why does it seem like almost every judaizing, pro-jewish “pastor” is a total piece of trash?
Robert Morris: alleged rapist and pedophile.
Mike Bickle: alleged rapist and pedophile.
Ravi Zacharias: sex offender and sexual predator.
Justin Welby: covered up sexual abuse within the Church of England.
George Bell: pedophile. Known for his “anti-nazi” views. A close friend of the traitor Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Jerry Falwell Junior: allegedly had a bisexual orgy with his wife and a male pool attendant, and also allegedly enjoyed watching his wife have internet s*x with another man. Later fired from Liberty University for posting photos of himself in a lewd situation with a scantily-clad woman.
There are plenty of other examples.
Did these “pastors” start worshipping the jews because they were already evil? Or did these “pastors” become evil by worshipping the evil jews?
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
Almost every pro-jewish “Christian” zionist I have ever encountered has turned out to be a malignant narcissist. They derive pleasure from going around bragging about how they worship the jews, and gleefully threatening that “god” will send you to hell if you don’t worship the evil jews like they do.
The lesson here, for any cucks who are reading this, is: DON’T support or venerate the evil jews, or you will be spiritually corrupted and turn into a monster like Robert Morris etc.
“Despite that, he maintains a large following, even among the Reformed community, mainly due to his long-term friendship with Dr. James White of Alpha & Omega Ministries”
Is that the same James White who relentlessly promotes anti-Whitism, race-mixing, and jew worship? The James White of GBT Seminary (more like LGBTQ Seminary)? The James White who teamed up with his fellow false teachers Doug Wilson and Joe Boot to author the antichrist “Antioch Declaration”?
“Julie Roys, a feminist and #ChurchToo activist whose website is dedicated to destroying pastors.”
Most of the “pastors” exposed by Julie Roys are judaizing, anti-White, pro-miscegenation, jew-worshipping, corrupt false teachers who go around spewing heretical antichrist lies such as “god hates racism” and “god demands interracial marriage” and “god will punish anti-semites.”
Seeing these evil manipulative anti-White false teachers being exposed is satisfying.
I view it as the Holy Spirit revealing and exposing the true evil nature of these manipulative false teachers.
Maybe that’s why the “Got Questions” website doesn’t reveal the names of the “pastors” who write their articles. Are their articles written by perverts and sex offenders such as Robert Morris?
As a Christian apologist Michael Brown should be fully aware that his inappropriate acts with Sarah were, biblically speaking, the sin of adultery. In the words of the Lord Jesus “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” According to Got Questions, “Even if a man or woman simply indulges in lustful thoughts (pornography is especially problematic), then he or she is committing adultery even if no extramarital physical contact ever takes place. This explanation by Jesus avoids all of the nuances about “how far is too far” with someone other than a spouse, and it avoids the need to define what “sex” really is. Lust, not sex, is the threshold of adultery….Adultery is deadly serious and brings God’s consequences. “A man who commits adultery has no sense; whoever does so destroys himself” (Proverbs 6:32; cf. 1 Corinthians 6:18 and Hebrews 13:4).
