Rick Warren is one of the most egotistical pastors in America. Rick Warren discipled an entire generation of pastors and pioneered seeker-friendly megachurch culture, in the United States, and taught many pastors and church planters to do likewise using Purpose Driven Church. Eventually, the Southern Baptist Convention would disfellowship Warren’s Saddleback Church over their ordination of female pastors. Last week, Warren publicly humiliated himself with his teaching of Jesus being a centrist on the cross.
Rick Warren since deleted the tweet that picked up a lot of traction in Christian media and now he’s apologized. Warren states:
I apologize. I wrote poorly. I don’t believe Jesus was a centrist. He stands far above it all. “My kingdom is not of this world…” Jn.18:36
Jesus demands our total allegiance as the center of our lives.
This is a rare concession for Rick Warren who indignantly got kicked out of the Southern Baptist Convention.

The only reason the slob Rick Warren apologized is because he got a lot of criticism for his heretical tweet, and he is worried that everyone will realize that he is a grifting, self-aggrandizing, lying false teacher.
I just watched Michael Knowles cook Rick Warren’s initial take by saying the thief on the right went to paradise.
