Joel Berry produced the latest attack against Christian anons on social media, which largely stems from his disinterest in meeting them in real life, if he did, he would realize they are normal hardworking people. But instead, the people at the Babylon Bee are more interested in hanging around with ethots.
Qatari Money
The allegations of Qatari funding is not novel if applied to Nick Fuentes and the Groyper movement. But the Christian Nationalists are distinct from Groypers who are theologically inconsistent and generally Papist. Austin Petersen is a libertarian atheist who gained prominence in 2018 being a social media candidate in the primary against Senator Josh Hawley. After his campaign, he set out to make it in Conservative Inc.
As a proponent of Christlessness, Zionism, and libertarianism, Austin Petersen’s opposition to Christian Nationalism is unsurprising. Joel Berry’s assent to the lie of Qatari funding is equally unsurprising because Berry is a liar. Berry has no evidence for his claims but is willing to make it regardless.

I am so sick of finger pointing at unnamed ‘anon’ accounts. Note I’m not upset that they exist. I’m upset that they are suggesting this astroturfing is going on, but never say who they are reffering to which accounts. And you ask them that, or ask for clarification about what criteria makes an account an ‘anon’ account, you get different answers and no clarity.
It’s feeling like a straw man in essence, except for the fact that there may well be accounts that do not accurately identify who is running them. The irony is real peopled accounts who care about things sometimes get asked if they are a bot (this has happened to me), which leads me to believe that many aren’t using critical thinking when evaluating this idea, and simply concluding that if its an account posting content that is new or disagrees with what I beleive or where I think my side is, then it must be a bot. Well that is not always true, frankly, but they will likely continue living in cognitive dissonance when challenged on substantive things.
The Babylon Bee was funny early on, but they started going in a direction within their first year, and once Adam Ford left, it just got to mocking a weak old man with dementia (not that I think he was a good president), and going about a sort of politics that is conservative except for on immigration. If he accused anyone who was pro-white of being a pagan, you wonder if he knows what the gospel is. I’ve heard he just joked around when he had the chance to share it with Elon Musk, who needs it and has shown some interest. And he suggested, perhaps jokingly, forcing all races to mix, which is a form of genocide and not something to joke about. (It is also poor stewardship, as no one would get away with trying to mix all animal species that could mix into one.) I am not qualified to say whether he is saved, but he is confused and dishonest, and he may not know what Christianity is about.
