Doug Wilson’s appearance on CNN made quite a splash, so much so that Asmongold has posted a video with 1.3 million views reacting to it. Asmongold is a self-proclaimed “Reddit atheist” video game streamer who has amassed nearly 4 million subs on YouTube. So what happens when a liberal atheist sees Doug Wilson? Black pills galore.
Asmongold has apparently been telling his audience that this was coming, a Christian Nationalist tide. However, he believes this to be less authentic and more about protecting the country from the rising threat of Islam and the fate of Europe. Therefore he believes that a bandwagon of Christian Nationalists will emerge to renew a cultural cohesion and insulate the United States from Islam.
For a Reddit Atheist, this is not bad. However, the early adopters of Christian Nationalism are genuine in their convictions, but it remains to be seen how many of the bandwagoners will be, since this hasn’t happened yet. Asmongold projects about 15 years before a Christian Nationalist existence.
All the while, the streamer laments the death of liberalism because it might mean repealing the 19th Amendment and recriminalizing sodomy. But Asmongold does not articulate a “better path” forward or any real countermeasures. He pouts and complains.
This is how I like my Reddit Atheists to be: blackpilled. And perhaps seeing how everything is better than it was under liberalism, when the laws and social customs are more aligned with Christianity, his heart will be softened.

I think Asmongold is secretly for Christian Nationalism but has to pretend to be against it. Granted I only watched the first few minutes of his video, the part where he’s just saying “Yeah, I told you this is coming.” But the tone in his voice when he says “Yeah, I told you this is coming” is not alarmist, but more like “bro, this is soooo based.” I think he has to play the libtard a bit to keep the Leftist media off him, but he is basically cheering for Christian Nationalism. Same as when he posted a short about how a boat of African migrants capsized, and he said, “Lets check the comments” and the comments had a meme of a certain figure turning the boat over, and he let out a rip roaring belly laugh, and said “I told you this was coming.” He even posted about some crackhead that tried to put a 9 year old in a garbage bag, who Colorado is going to just let go because he’s mental and “he’s unrestorable” and Asmongold said “If he’s unrestorable, why don’t they just kill him then?” Reddit atheist….yeah right. He has them reddit atheists fooled.
