Evangelical Dark Web Joins Nathanael Greene Society’s Greene Tavern

When many talk about the masculinity crisis, there is typically a lagging effect on their knowledge. Men’s-only spaces have been eroded over the decades to where even their sports have been feminized, and the male franchises, like video games and movies, have also suffered under the longhouse.

The problems are very real, but the solutions are being forged. Society needs male only spaces, and one of those rising institutions is the Old Glory Club, which operates as a fraternity that is focused on gathering American men interested in advancing the American people and preserving their traditions, folkways, and their future. In other words, it is a fraternity that is composed of Heritage Americans for Heritage Americans. Their annual conference featured speakers as Auron MacIntyre, Dave Greene, and John Doyle. While it skews Millennial and Gen Z, it does compose of men across multiple generations. Contrary to the bulverisms associated with the online right, there are fathers, former military, and intellectually astute men.

One of the chapters of the OGC is the Nathanael Greene Society, which operates out of North Carolina. Each chapter is different and tailors its image to its locality. Generally speaking, the OGC, though non-religious and nonpolitical officially, is an organization that is pan-Christian in its demos, bringing together the Reformed, Catholics, Ortho-bros, and other Christian sects for civic purposes.

With the crossover between Christian Nationalism and The Old Glory Club, the Nathanael Greene Society invited Evangelical Dark Web onto their Greene Tavern, their weekly show.

The subjects discussed included abortion and the pitfalls of the Pro-Life movement, including its figures like Lila Rose, and the failures of the movement to craft an effective and consistent message. Where many organizations would die off if abortion were ended, thus incentivizing them to do little on the issue, the abolitionist camp lacks a good message or strategy. Where all on the panel agreed, I would advise a message of “branding the women” rather than talking about criminalization. Making abortion low status and ghetto should be the primary mission of the pro-life movement.

All on the panel agreed that immigration was the primary issue, even over abortion, which led the back half of the conversation to focus on how to speak to the boomer generation on the issues of legal immigration. One suggestion that sticks out is to use the Indian Question. As this subcontinental group comes, they bring their Hindu religion and other oddities with them, and older people all have poor experiences with call centers, which are often operated by Indians. This could be a wedge to open them up on certain issues, because unfortunately, persuading them against the idea of forcing their progeny to compete with the world for their birthright is an uphill fight.

The Old Glory Club has created a network of talented men, which then allows for mutual aid between the chapters and across state lines, most notably for disaster relief in North Carolina. Where many in the church bash the anons or fail to understand political or social theory, the OGC is a collection of anons that do understand and engage in all matters of discourse. What began as “basket-weaving” has evolved into something quite real and formidable. The OGC has bridged the online to the real world, which is a vital step necessary to forming new institutions and making America great again.
