The Lil Nas X mockery of Christ escalated this week as his album is nigh, and the lack of discernment on this issue is disturbing. It was quite obvious when teasing his “Christian era” that when he said he was still homosexual and is also a transvestite that there is no genuine faith here.
Moreover, it’s clear from the imagery that Lil Nas X has put out that he’s the messianic figure in his “Christian era.”

The lack of discernment was showcased by Lecrae. In a poorly aged video his partially affirming of homosexuality, Side B Theology, showcased itself.
At the beginning of the video, Lecrae talks about Lil Nas X’s father being a devout Christian before lecturing the church on how mean we are to gay people.
From there, Lecrae affirms that same-sex attraction is not a sin, which is Side B Theology.
Ultimately, Lecrae believes that we can be so nice and that will lead people like Lecrae to Christ, being there for them on their way up and when they hit rock bottom. Yet not presenting the gospel to them on their way up, which includes mentioning sin, isn’t going to make someone change their mind when they hit rock bottom. If anything, they may grow indignant that you did not warn them.
Moreover, Lecrae lectures Christians on a loser theology literally saying “You are not David.” Lecrae wants Christians to create culture, but he opposes a meaningful bold stance against the zeitgeist, largely due to his liberal theology.
