Voddie Baucham is one of the most in-demand preachers in Evangelicalism today. Yet despite this, Voddie Baucham has chosen to be the Dean of Theology at African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia. While his distance has kept him out of the news a lot, Baucham has played a significant role in fighting Critical Race Theory, publishing a book titled Fault Lines in the church and is also a supporter of Christian Nationalism.
On Monday, Voddie Baucham announced his return to the United States.
After nearly a decade in Zambia, the time has come for the Bauchams to repatriate to the USA.
There is a longer story (sign up for our newsletter for more information), but the short version is, our December-February furlough will be our transition back.
PLEASE PRAY!
Please pray for everything surrounding the sale of our house in Lusaka.
Please pray for ACU. There are many changes on the horizon and our hope is that the best days are ahead.
Please pray for us as we work to wrap things up in the next few weeks (we leave December 1st).
Pray for our children. This transition will not be easy.
Pray for wisdom as we seek to follow the Lord in regard to our next move.
Pray for our furlough. We still need to take care of a number of things in the U.S. before we settle.
Voddie Baucham’s return to the United States could bring much-needed leadership in American Evangelicalism.
