Clint Pressley’s tenure as Southern Baptist president has been thus far uneventful on his end. While the liberals run amok in entities such as the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, Pressley has often signaled his support for only male pastors and has an aura of competence that neither Bart Barber nor Ed Litton had. Although an upgrade, Clint Pressley proved to be a company man at this Monday’s SBC Executive Committee meeting.
I thank the Lord that we have entities that operate with responsible transparency. Tired of hearing that we don’t have transparency, we do have transparency. Been a lot of talk here and the trustees that we have been given at our boards are providing the right oversight. It’s like what it goes on in my church. Like what happens at our church that

Clint Pressley likens the Cooperative Program to a Porsche and discussed that it just needed to be engineered. In the above clip, Pressley urged the SBCEC to resist the two extremes of complacency and burn it all down. Pressley insisted that the transparency and accountability mechanisms in place do not allow for exorbitant salaries, as Johnny Hunt alleged from the North American Mission Board.
However, just because the trustees are aware of the officers’ financial compensation does not mean that Southern Baptists are aware of it. Moreover, a revolving door of yesmen trustees is part of the problem that the Southern Baptists face due to the liberal takeover of the convention. In order for a Conservative Resurgence to once more be successful, they would need to be in charge of appointing trustees for about a decade. But since Kevin Ezell has effectively played kingmaker in the Southern Baptist Convention, he has largely avoided accountability and transparency.
Moreover, as Clint Pressley raves about the effectiveness of the Cooperative Program, he neglects that part of transparency is for entities like the North American Mission Board to show their work by providing in their report of what churches they planted and funded with their budget and the amounts. The Southern Baptist Convention does not practice a 990 level of transparency. Moreover, the Send Relief program is a combined effort of NAMB and the International Mission Board, and this organization has acted as a subcontractor to World Relief, and Southern Baptists were not told.
Simply put, there is no transparency in the Southern Baptist Convention. Moreover, Clint Pressley’s claim that every Southern Baptist seminary and professor adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message is laughable when Jeff Iorg, the SBCEC CEO and former Gateway Seminary president, supports female pastors in the SBC.
Clint Pressley is more competent than his predecessors, but his blind loyalty to the company is leading him to make foolish sales pitches.

I wonder how much money the SBC receives each year directly or indirectly from USAID, CIA, UN, blackrock, blackstone, goldman sachs, soros, and other jewish-controlled sources.
