John MacArthur Mic Drop

DarkLinks 44: John MacArthur’s Sermon Censored, Mike Todd Apologizes

It’s been a long time since Evangelical Dark Web has done a DarkLinks. Over the past year, this publication has stepped up its own game on newsgathering and reporting, so we have not relied on curating the content of others. However, during the past week where Evangelical Dark Web was breaking it’s own stories on Algorithm Christianity and the Send Network, there were a couple of stories that fell through the cracks, even on a slow news week. The first is a story we didn’t cover because we were too behind to, and that’s the John MacArthur censorship story. We don’t often report on Big Tech censorship, rather solutions to the censorship, but this story is important because of the context of Canada’s law. The second is a follow-up on Mike Todd, a story that was passed up on. Evangelical Dark Web was among the first to expose Michael Todd.

YouTube: Pastor MacArthur’s Sermon is ‘HATE SPEECH’

By Todd Starnes

Pastor MacArthur delivered a message Sunday about Biblical sexuality – part of a nationwide campaign to draw attention to Canadian legislation that would silence pastors on LGBT issues.

Five years in prison for pastors who preach against the LGBT agenda.

So Pastor MacArthur encouraged pastors around the nation to stand in solidarity by preaching from their pulpits about biblical teachings regarding LGBT issues.

“There is no such thing as transgender. You are either XX or XY, that’s it. God made man male and female. That is determined genetically, that is physiology, that is science, that is reality,” MacArthur said from the pulpit.

Pastor Apologizes for Wiping Snot and Spit on Congregants’ Face for Sermon Illustration

By Protestia

‘Pastor Michael Todd of Transformation Church in Tulsa, OK, has apologized for spitting phlegm and saliva into his hands and then rubbing on a congregants face (a man who later turned out to be his brother) is some obscene, freaky-deaky sermon illustration, writing on social media it was “never my intention to distract others from God’s Word and the message of Jesus… even with illustrations!” and “I apologize for my example being too extreme and disgusting!”
