Beth Moore’s exit from the Southern Baptist Convention was seen by many as a full embrace of egalitarian feminism. However, she has kept a much lower profile for the last two and a half years. Perhaps the demand was lower since her Living Proof Ministries operated in the red. Alternatively, her entrance into a patriarchal Anglican church might have slowed her role in becoming an official female pastor elsewhere. However, on Sunday, December 3, she will preach at Duke Chapel, affiliated with Duke University.
Today’s guest preacher is author and speaker Beth Moore, a dynamic teacher whose conferences take her across the globe. She lives in Houston, Texas, where she leads Living Proof Ministries. She has written numerous bestselling books and Bible studies, and recently celebrated twenty-five years of Living Proof Live conferences. She can be seen teaching Bible studies on the television program Living Proof with Beth Moore, aired on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.
Looking forward to welcoming @BethMooreLPM as our preacher in @DukeChapel on Sunday morning December 3. Yes women preachers are welcome in the pulpit. There is a great company of them, just like the Bible talks about (Ps 68:11). pic.twitter.com/04HCt7ADDO

Duke Divinity is one of the worst seminaries in the South, as well as Wake Forrest. And this is the latest reason why.
It will be interesting to see if the sermon is indeed woke or exceedingly superficial like her previous sermon at Progressive Chuch in Chicago.
