Gay Episcopal Priest Exposed by Predator Sting

There are several niche content creators that specialize in investigative journalism in the realm of “to catch a predator,” where civilians take up the cause of finding and gathering evidence against sexual predators. Amongst these is People v. Preds, which boasts 102 arrests coming from their actions. The content often features their team going undercover and posing as underage individuals, and after gathering evidence, they record a direct confrontation of the individual which is then publicized.

One of their recently released busts was Roger Alan Haenke, an Episcopal priest in Chula Vista, CA. When confronted by People v. Preds, he is seen with his “husband,” and the two step outside where the rest of the confrontation is filmed.

During the video, Haenke claimed that when he talks to someone online, he assumes they are all of age unless told otherwise. People v. Preds claims that he has the evidence of how he persisted in conversation despite being told he was talking to someone underage, in this case, 14 and 15-year-old boys. The investigators used Grindr, a popular sodomite hook-up app, to find this predator.

The conversations posted by People v. Preds feature sexually explicit conversations that employ terms like top and bottom, which refer to one’s role during anal sex. The greater context is that they are discussing their roles during a prospective sexual encounter. Haenke made jokes expressing sexual interest in the undercover’s father, and he made sexual remarks about masturbation. The undercover account’s backstory included mention of being a “top” to a 51-year-old man, something Haenke said was “hot.” This is all while believing he was talking to a 14-15-year-old he found on Grindr.

Roger Haenke is an Episcopal priest at St. John’s in Chula Vista and is a nurse. His background is a bit more interesting:

The Reverend Roger Haenke was born in Hastings, Minnesota and was raised in Rugby, North Dakota.  After completing a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care, he attended St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Rev. Roger was ordained a Roman Catholic priest on June 1, 1991. Over several years, he served churches in Jamestown, Grand Forks, Fargo, and New Rockford, North Dakota. [Emphasis Added]

After much discernment, Rev. Roger decided to leave active ministry as a priest of the Roman Catholic Church. He attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN where he completed a B.S. in Nursing.  Rev. Roger worked as a pediatric nurse, then as an administrator for the Pediatric Specialty Clinics at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and then similarly at Seattle Children’s in Bellevue, WA.  While in Seattle, Rev. Roger was an active member at St. Mark’s Cathedral, where he was received into The Episcopal Church.

Rev. Roger moved to San Diego in July of 2008, where he has held nursing director positions for Sharp Healthcare, St. Paul’s Senior Services and as a clinic director for Family Health Centers of San Diego.  Rev. Roger taught nursing at San Diego State University until his retirement.

In San Diego, Rev. Roger’s transition to the Episcopal Church was strengthened by his active ministry in St. Paul’s Cathedral.  After several years of discernment and preparation, Rev. Roger was received as an Episcopal priest in the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego by Bishop James Mathes on May 26, 2017.  While preparing to be an Episcopal priest, Rev. Roger completed an eight-month pastoral field education assignment at St. John’s, Chula Vista.  He served a summer internship with St. Andrew’s, Encinitas, and then began a curacy with Holy Cross, Carlsbad in September, 2017.  He was named Interim Vicar of Holy Cross on February 1, 2019. Rev. Roger has recently been elected to the diocesan Executive Council.

The biography on the website finishes by openly stating that “Rev. Roger is married to Cliff Berkowitz,” so there is no attempt to hide the sodomite priest. The fact that he was a Roman Catholic priest prior to becoming Episcopalian certainly begs more questions. His homosexuality was more than likely a factor in his departure from the Catholic Church.

Legally, there could be ramifications for Haenke regarding his nurse license or with the Episcopal diocese. The Episcopalian Church is not known for its adherence to orthodoxy, so the removal of Haenke remains to be seen.

Analysis

What was recorded by People v. Preds is all too commonplace in sodomite subcultures. The connection between homosexuality and pederasty is an open secret that rarely gets discussed. Older gay men like to prey upon younger men, teenagers, or outright children. In Walton County, GA, the Zulocks adopted two boys and ran a pedophile ring. Another recent video featured a registered sex offender procuring a child through surrogacy, which was initially used to mock Christians opposed to the practice, only for stereotypes to prove true.

Another myth perpetuated by gay activists is that “gay couples” are just like normal couples, only this is untrue. In fact, monogamy is not standard practice with sodomites, which was exhibited in the example of Roger Haenke being active on Grindr. Even in “committed relationships,” others might be added into the equation, which would include children, animals, or other tops and bottoms. Whether the “husband” Berkowitz was involved in these Grindr affairs remains uncertain, but certainly a possibility.

Overall, there is no separating sodomy from pederasty or pedophilia. In American history, this has always been evident from Harvey Milk to the homosexual activists advocating against age of consent laws for situations exactly like Haenke’s. Nothing about this should be seen as surprising but is par for the course with buggery.

  1. So basically (reading between the lines only a tiny bit) the Papists knew he was molesting boys and fired him but didn’t report him to the cops, and then he just goes to the Episcopalians to continue his activities. Allegedly, of course, added only for legal reasons. This proves why the Papists should be required to report pedos and the “seal of confession” is nothing but an admission that papism must be banned from our society and deported back to Italy. Also shows why all Protestant and fake Protestant (Episcopalian) denominations should ban ex-papist priests from becoming clergy in their churches.

  2. Don’t forget that Tim Keller’s sodomite hero Michel Foucault was an advocate of ending age of consent laws!

  3. How amusing that this article is trying to point the finger at the entirety of the LGBTQ+ communities, while ignoring the fact that pedos are always either right-wing, or religious nut jobs.

Keep projecting you fairy tale-believing freaks! And we’ll keep laughing as you get locked up!
