The highly anticipated announcement from Joe Biden came on Sunday after weeks of rumors and leaks. Evidently, a deal was struck, and Joe Biden will not accept the nomination for President by the Democrat Party. The President announced on Sunday:
Joe Biden would follow this announcement up with something that the leaks said was not going to happen. Biden endorsed Kamala Harris rather than leaving it up to the delegates.
My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.
Donald Trump called this in a leaked video weeks ago, whereas, it was predicted here that Joe Biden would remain as he is still the most electable option for Democrats.
Instead, Democrats seem intent on repeating Walter Mondale by having a Vice President of a failed administration win the nomination at the convention. It’s a bold strategy, Cotton. Let’s see if it pays off for them.

The donors, then the media, and finally the other dem politicians turned on Biden. I agree he probably got a deal since the family is power hungry. Harris is a mess but an open convention would be a bigger mess for them. Trump should win but he’s still fighting against the media and the deep state.
